Design, detailed engineering, preparation of shop drawings, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete firefighting and fire alarm system at an established Indian metals and mining company with a legacy spanning over 50 years
1. Equipment Supply
The work includes the supply and delivery of all necessary materials and equipment required for the firefighting and fire alarm systems, such as:
- Fire Hydrant System Components: Hydrant valves, water monitors, RRL hoses, branch pipes, deluge valves, butterfly valves, Y-strainers, and related accessories.
- Fire Alarm System Components: Fire alarm control panels, cables, junction boxes, manual call points, hooters, fire detectors, sirens, linear heat sensing cables, fire alarm modules, and OFC cables for inter-panel communication.
- Installation: Complete installation of the fire alarm system as per approved drawings and standards.
- Design & Engineering: Preparation of detailed designs, engineering documents, and system layouts for the entire firefighting and fire alarm network.
2. Supervision Services
The work includes supervision and execution support for:
- Erection, laying, and commissioning of all firefighting equipment.
- Installation of fire pumps, hydrant and sprinkler piping networks, valves, and related systems.
- Monitoring and supervision of site activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
Conclusion
The project is ongoing and progressing as per the approved schedule and specifications. All works are being carried out with due consideration to quality, safety, and engineering standards to achieve successful completion.
