To design, provide, install, test, and commission the complete Fire Detection, Alarm, and Protection Systems ensuring full compliance with applicable fire safety standards, local regulations, and statutory requirements at an Indian pharmaceutical company which is engaged in the research, manufacturing and marketing of finished dosage pharmaceutical formulations (both over‐the‐counter (OTC) and prescription) for domestic and international markets.

Scope of Work:

  1. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fire Hydrant System. Includes piping, hydrant valves, hose pipes, and branch pipes.
  2. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Fire Sprinkler System. Includes pendent sprinklers and upright sprinklers.
  3. Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Fire Tank and Pumping System. Includes diesel engine-driven centrifugal pumps and firefighting tanks.
Works included:
  1. Fire Alarm System – Providing and fixing of an addressable fire alarm system including control panels, detectors, manual call points, sounders, flashers, cabling, and accessories. Integration with Public Address and Fire Pump systems for alarm and control functions.
  2. Public Address (PA) System – Providing and fixing of centralized PA system with amplifiers, microphones, speakers, and FRLS cabling. Integration with Fire Alarm System for emergency announcements.
  3. Fire Hydrant System – Providing and fixing of wet riser and yard hydrant system with pumps, hydrant valves, hoses, water tanks, and piping network. Pressure and flow testing as per IS standards.
  4. Automatic Sprinkler System – Providing and fixing of automatic wet sprinkler system with sprinklers, alarm valves, flow switches, and associated piping network.
  5. Fire Extinguisher System – Supply and installation of portable fire extinguishers (ABC, CO₂, Foam, Water type) at designated locations with proper mounting and tagging.
  6. Statutory Liaisoning & Documentation – Preparation and submission of drawings, design calculations, and documents. Coordination for inspection, testing, and certification.
  7. Software-Based Hydraulic Calculations – Performing hydraulic design calculations using approved software for hydrant and sprinkler systems, including pump sizing and pressure loss analysis.

Conclusion:

The project is ongoing and progressing as per the approved schedule, design, and technical specifications. All activities are being executed in line with quality and safety standards, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with project requirements.
