The scope of work included the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the firefighting system and fire alarm system for the Admin Building of Goa International Airport . The works covered all necessary materials, equipment, and accessories required to complete the systems in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and relevant standards.

1. Fire Alarm System

  • Supply and installation of a 32-bit microprocessor-based intelligent, addressable, peer-to-peer networkable 4-loop Fire Alarm Control Panel.
  • Addressable smoke detectors, addressable multi-sensor detectors, and addressable manual call points with cabling and galvanized back boxes.
  • Addressable fault isolator modules and all necessary accessories, wiring, and terminations.

2. Hydrant System (Internal and External)

  • Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of internal and external fire hydrant systems, including hydrant valves, hose reels, landing valves, hoses, branch pipes, and accessories.
  • Provision of yard hydrants, fire hose cabinets, and necessary fittings, supports, and instrumentation as per approved drawings and standards.
  • Connection to the fire water network, including control valves, pressure gauges, and flow switches.

3. Sprinkler System

  • Supply and installation of an automatic sprinkler system with required piping network, sprinkler heads, valves, and supports.
  • Integration with the fire alarm system for automatic operation and monitoring.

4. Fire Fighting Piping

  • Supply, laying, jointing, and testing of external and internal firefighting pipelines including fittings, valves, supports, painting, and identification markings.

5. Portable Fire Extinguishers

Supply and installation of portable fire extinguishers of suitable types (CO₂, DCP, water, foam, etc.)

Conclusion

All firefighting and fire alarm system works for the Admin Building have been successfully completed, including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. The systems have been fully inspected and tested in accordance with the approved drawings, technical specifications.
